National Bookstart Day 2007
| Friday 5 October is National Bookstart Day 2007 and the theme is Jungle Party! Axel Scheffler, the illustrator of Monkey Puzzle and The Gruffalo, has generously donated a unique and wonderful image to celebrate the day. Point-of-sale materialsPoint-of-sale materials have been sent to all independent booksellers that accept the £1 National Book Token enclosed in Bookstart+ packs and Treasure Chest, as well as the following book chains: | ![]() | ||
| Each point-of-sale pack contains one A2 poster, two A3 posters, three A4 posters, 100 bookmarks and 112 stickers. | |||
If you do not receive a point-of-sale pack and would like to celebrate National Bookstart Day in October, or if you would like to send in feedback on this year’s campaign, please email nationalbookstartday@booktrust.org.uk. To ensure that you receive a pack of materials automatically in 2008, please register to accept Bookstart Book Tokens via the Booksellers Association - see More information.
A limited number of National Bookstart Day posters have also been produced in Welsh. To request Welsh language posters, please email nationalbookstartday@booktrust.org.uk
