NBD 2007 materials
Friday 5 October is National Bookstart Day 2007 and the theme is Jungle Party!
Axel Scheffler, the illustrator of Monkey Puzzle and The Gruffalo, has generously donated a unique and wonderful image to celebrate the day.
We hope that you will join us in the celebrations by:
- using the free promotional materials (bookmarks and stickers) during the first week of October and especially on Friday 5 October
- running your own Bookstart Rhymetime event singing rhymes or reading stories to babies and toddlers
Promotional materials
Promotional materials were sent in late June to Sure Start children's centres. Each promotional pack contains one A2 poster, two A3 posters, three A4 posters, 100 bookmarks and 112 stickers.
If you would like to request Welsh language posters, or if you have not received a promotional pack and would like to celebrate National Bookstart Day in October, please email nationalbookstartday@booktrust.org.uk. We would also be grateful for your comments on this year's campaign.
